Baumer Specimen is a printed design publication that presents the typeface Baumer through a fictional brand guideline. Instead of showing the typeface in a conventional specimen format, the publication applies it within a visual system.

The brochure documents the typographic characteris-tics of the typeface while showing how Baumer worksin a brand-related context: through hierarchy, lay-out, and application. The result is a hybrid format between type specimen, brand manual, and editorial object.

The publication is intended for a design-conscious audience with an interest in typography, branding,visual systems, independent publishing, and printed matter.
