The Story

Damn #92 - Spring/Summer 2026

DAMN°92 magazine explores the theme Roots of Meaning; how we connect to the places we come from, and what ancestral stories, traditions, and rituals can teach us today. In Western Europe, much of that knowledge has been lost-folktales emptied of meaning, ties to soil and species forgotten. Elsewhere, especially in Indigenous communities, these stories still exist, though their understanding is fading.

About Damn Magazine: DAMN° is an independent quarterly print magazine and digital platform that explores opinions on contemporary culture. It was founded in 2004 and has intimately witnessed the expansion of the discipline. So while design will always be its home-base, the magazine's vision has expanded to include our belief that the broader contemporary narrative needs a cultural perspective which art, design and architecture bring.
