The Story

Black Skew #3 - Tokyokumu Workshop

The third issue documents a collaborative workshop led by Black Skew and Anne Murayama during Tokyo Art Book Fair 2025 at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Using photographs, typographic elements, and visual fragments collected throughout the city, participants explored processes of image-making, composition, and graphic experimentation.
“black skew” is a journal, an ongoing series, which deals with a different photo/graphic themes for each issue. It is produced by Black Skew, and Italian graphic designer and photographer that lives and works in London. Together with Giulia Boggio, is collaborating in a creative practice Dogma.
Anne Murayama is a Tokyo-based image artist, curator, and publisher exploring intimate visual narratives through photography and photobook-making.

She is the founder of Ephemere, an independent photography platform focused on preserving and sharing fleeting moments through publications, exhibitions, and creative exchanges.
